our thornM44?54c gas boiler is heating radiators but not water, whats wrong?

there must be a motorised valve or valves near the hot water cylinder. sounds like the hot water valve going to the cylinder has failed or if there is only one valve it has failed to open when you set the programmer to hot water , these valves can be opened up manually, until a new one is installed. hope this helps,
