What do the symbols on my Servis Rain wave 900 mean?

I have moved into an apartement and there is no instruction manual with the washing machine. It's a Servis 900 Rain wave. I'm not sure what all the various buttons mean.. it doesn't take the powder from the drawer and clothes are not coming out fresh smelling. Am I doing something wrong??
