The wash water does not get hot and there is no heat to dry the dishes at the end of the cycle.
The flow through heater shows a 20 ohm resistance which I calculate is about right for 3kW heater.
I have changed the heater relay and also the stainless steel thermostat mounted in the sump (albeit with secondhand bits bought off the internet) The thermostat has a resistance of 8000ohms reducing to 3500ohms in almost boiling water. At the time in the cycle that you would expect the heater to be on there is no voltage upstream of the overheat thermostats on the heater
Any ideas
Guys, I have exactly the same problem with my Miele G646SC dishwasher, it does not heat.
Can we start from the beginning, what and where exactly should I open first?
any detailed schema of this device you could share?
thanks for your help.

Possible high pressure pressure switch faulty, if it has one it will be on the output side of the wash motor, its function is to pass power to the heater ONLY if there is sufficient water pressure coming off the washpump. Of course it could be that the switch is ok but there is not enough water going into the machine for the washpump to create the required pressure, or you could have debris in the washpump impellor.
