Mend Peugeot 206cc Left Indicator Working

Peugeot 206cc left indicator not working?

Others say that it is probably the 2000 comm unit. Where is this and can i remove it. Electronics repairs are my trade. If i could remove it i can probably repair it cheaper than £150. How do i remove it please

Thanks for the link but this doesn't seem to be the answer.
The car is a o2 reg 206cc. The left indicator does not work. There are no spurious actions just that. As i said before it has been suggested that it is the com2000 that is at fault. Where is it and how do i remove it?
