how can I replace the door seal on my Hotpoint WM52?

hi, youll have to take off the front panel of your washer to do a tidy job (no leaks) i found this the best way, after you take out soap tray , front control panel plastic front, you will see the screws holding the panel in place, there are normaly 4 screws here, and 3 on bottom, remove the door boot rubber from the door surround before you attempt to pull off,also the interlock switch, and then everything can be seen including the band which holds the seal to the tub, refit in reverse order making sure the band is tightly around the new door boot rubber, hope this will help alan (washer man)
