04 plate almera tino SE reverse camera?

I have an 04 plate Almera Tino Se and it has a reverse camera fitted in tailgate. When I select reverse the LCD screen goes blank with a caution message across the bottom. Can I reboot the reverse camera or does it need a bigger repair?
