freehand embroidery on Jones Buttonmatic VX2051?

Hi,
Is it possible to drop the feed dog to do freehand embroidery on this machine please? Thanks

No,there's no drop feed on this model.There should be a plastic piece in your tool box that you fit to your needle plate to cover the feed dogs,it should be listed in the user manual.
