Mend GHD Bottom Attached Top

GHD plate?

the plate on the bottom of my irons keeps coming out. It's still attached at the end near the bottoms but the top of it comes out and keeps catching my hair. This was caused by them falling on the floor. Can anyone suggest how to fix this?
