can you override auto timer on new world mx6?

I don't know for sure but on my electric cookers when the auto time got set (it was always by accident - more trouble than worth) I could overcome it by cycling the power off and on again - the clock would flash and then I could set the time (any time would do - the cooker was not fussy) - how do you set your clock - again I don't know - on my cooker I would depress and hold in two buttons on the left and adjust the clock with Plus & minus buttons on the right.
