How do I access the clock/auto timer on my Creda cooker?

I have a creda concept double oven cooker. The auto timer/ minute minder etc has gone haywire. It keeps going to auto. I switch it back to manual and within minutes it's gone to auto again. Very frustrating as the oven switches off each time the display goes to auto. Does anyone know how the 'auto' function can be disabled? How can the front of the control panel be removed? My husband can loosen it and move it slightly but doesn't want to force it. Any advice would be really appreciated.

I'm afraid I cannot answer your question re Creda timer as I have exactly the same problem and have been struggling to find the answer from other people but no-one so far can help. As you say it is so frustrating - I'm sure it is just a simple thing like how to adjust the Manual setting with the Auto and clock. I am writing to see if by any chance you have solved the problem meanwhile - and hopefully could let me know.
