Mend Fellowes 525SB Working Properly Problem

maxSHRED 525SB works in reverse but not forward?

My maxSHRED 525SB is not working properly. It will not work in forward, but will work in reverse. What is the problem? And, how can I fix it. Can't understand why will go in reverse but not forward. I'm thinking can't be motor as it does work in reverse. Don't want to hear to use in reverse then, I've tried it and its not stable. thank you.

You will need to remove the five phillips head screws in the bottom of the MaxSHRED shredder. It will take a little pulling to get the shredder to come apart. You will find a small 1/2 inch roller that has come lose. You will need to put it back into place. The piece looks a lot like the piece of metal that holds on a watch band. Reassemble the shredder. Tighten the five screws and enjoy going forward again with you shredder.
