Mend Bosch SHV553GB/79 Dishwasher Cycle Electric

SHV55 3GB/79. Runs with door open ? No water?

Hi
My dishwasher keeps running , even when door open , does not start the cycle or fill with water and has 2 lights on the electric panel , when it has only ever had one on during a cycle ? Tried the rest buttons on the panel but has no effect.
Any help greatly appreciated .

The anti flood system has operated water has leaked into the base where the motor etc is. Remove right side panel when UNPLUGGED and suck out water with a turkey baster. This is usually cased by a blockage in the clear hose from the air chamber left side to the sump middle. Air chamber could also be blocked. If not look for leaks. Cheers
