Mend Peugeot 206 Door Lock Pull

The front seat adjuster on my Peugeot 206 won't catch!!!?

The drivers seat adjuster on my 3 door wouldn't lock. I had to pull it back and forth before I could lock it and the seat adjuster mechanism on the right handside is loose. Have read about quite a few issues on this model, is this something easy to fix or an expensive garage job? Has anyone else had this problem?
