Mend AEG OKO Favorit 50700 Dishwasher Repair Broken

AEG OKö Favorit 50700?

When pressing ON / OFF button it does not stay pressed in any more? Has to wedge it with a toothpick to stay in so that machine can wash. Perhaps something that make it click / stay pressed on the inside in has worn out or broke? If so, how to remove (which) cover to get to it? Living in remote area. Qualified technicians few if any. Instructions would be welcomed. :)

When I said lid I meant Fascia panel.Just thought if its one built in to the main PCB you have to replace the whole PCB at great expense!

take the lid off and look at on/off switch.get a new one ordered 1st as nothing can be done to sort old one if faulty.Mains off 1st!!!
