Lane Swivel Recliner- Spring placement?

I have a Lane Swivel Recliner that "droops" on the control handle side. I looked underneath it and I see the home location of the spring on one side, but where it attaches on the other side is not too obvious. I didn't see anything broken off but I know this spring not being in the right place is the culprit. Any ideas? Need more info? Don't hesitate to ask...
