the van runs perfect but now and then at all speeds the glow plug warning light will come on and kill the power! the van still runs but at about half power.if i turn the engine of and restart it,it clears the problem and its back to full power!
Any help on this would gratefully recieved.
This happened to a van i purchased yesterday. I since found that a cable (+) was broken where the battery positive point is under the bonnett. Simple to fix.
I also have a problem with a simmillar van an 02 transit 350 90. it is hard to find all gears.. is this the clutch or gearbox or something else?? any help much appreciated

had loads of these,your fault is a faulty map sensor located on the turbocharger outlet tube above the gearbox,cheap easy fix.

You need to have the van plugged in at a Ford dealer to have the fault codes read. The glow plug light is also the fault light.
