We have plugged our new Schott Ceran hob in this morning and cannot get it to work at all. When we touch the heater selection key, with a pan on, and set the heat level it changes from the number to another symbol which looks like a U with a line under it, this is the same for all four zones, anyone any ideas?
Is it an induction hob? If so check the saucepans you are using are ferrous steel if a magnet sticks to them they are ok, also induction hob wont work if tried with no pans on. Cheers
