Mend Indesit IWDC6125 Light Wash

How do I fix my Indesit IWDC6125? ?

As my Indesit IWDC6125 was doing a light wash the mcb in the consumer unit tripped. I managed to empty the machine and started again, the same thing happened.
Thinking that it may be the washer heater that's the problem, I took the heater out and put a meter on it to see if there was a reading. Connecting live and neutral I got a reading. Connecting live to earth, or neutral to earth, there was NO reading.
Can anyone help solve my problem
