as long as it is a straight match,like for like then you might not encounter too much trouble,sometimes it is easier to drop the engine/g/box out as a unit and while it is out have a good look at the clutch and replace if in any doubt,a lot easier than hauling gearboxes out again,if you don`t know the new engines history then again it may be worthwhile doing the timing belt while it is out of the motor,also the water pump.If it doesn`t start then it may need to go onto the relevant code reader to sort out immobiliser/faults.good luck
