Mend BMW 318ise Start Warm Cold

Bmw hard to start?

Have a BMW 318ise, 2002, drives great when warm but really hard to start when cold, sounds like it is only going on 2 or 3 cylinders for about 15 mins and if you rev her she cuts out. when warm is fine and will restart okay for a couple of hours>?
