Mend Hotpoint Washing Machine Interlock Control

hot point washer door light comes on during cycle?

My hotpoint washer keeps stopping so far through the cycle, when the door light comes on and stops everything. Have replaced the door interlock and door handle is fine, have been back onto the website and thought maybe a door lock harness control might do the trick. Does anyone know if this might work or what to do about it please.
