focus engine cooling ?

focus 56 reg tdci 115 hp

since renewing T belt and WP 3000 miles ago, it takes a lot longer than normal for engine to reach operating temp. engines runs fine, heater blows hot air, no leaks or air locks, fan cuts in. im thinking thermostat could be faulty any other ideas. thanks
