Makita Cordless Drill Charger wont charge batteries?

My Makita Cordless Drill Charger (Drill Model 6012D) is not charging the batteries anymore. Is the charger bad or are both batteries ?

Clues: No charge whatsoever in either battery. When Charger is plugged in, the LED does nothing, even if a battery is in it or out of it. Also, the transformer plug doesnt seem to get warm at all.

And I find a replacement battery for this on http://www.drill-battery.com.au . If I can go to get one for my drill?


I dont want to waste money on both batteries and a charger, if I can even find them. I'm told the charger is out of stock and production......
