Mend GE Dishwasher Leak Repair

Can the seal on my Ge dishwasher be fixed?

I believe the seal is leaking where the motor shaft goes to the pump. Is this fixable on a ge dishwasher? Actually it would be the seal around where the shaft goes into the pump.
