Mend Heat Surge Trips Works Switch

Heat Surge trips reset button on high?

My Heat Surge works fine on low heat. When you switch to high heat, it trips the reset button on the back. Wait a few minutes and pushing the button resets the unit. But, everytime you switch to high, it cuts out.
