Renault Megane Convertible - rear driver window stuck?

I have had the same problems. 2 years ago the pasenger rear window went down and never came back up again. I took this to Renault who told me that the whole window system had to be replaced (part of the rear roof suspension system) Cost me £500+ I was so peeved about it and I felt it was a total rip off.

then 2 weeks ago the driver rear window got stuck... I thought, o dear here we go again... another £500 to fix. However this time I decided to google the problem and found loads of sites where people had the same problem. I called renualt, told them I know about the problem and they said that if is is the regulator that is the problem they will fix it and renault will pay 76% of the bill.

I have a 54 Reg and was happy to hear that. Now I just hope it is the regulator and not something else. I always feel sometimes being a woman and not having the first clue about cars I can get ripped of easlily. The car is at the Mechanic now and getting fixed as the coil spring and mounting snapped this morning!! That is costing £301! I am no liking my renault megane at the moment I can assure you!
