I was reading paul's blog. It sounds as if its the same problem as mine. I wanted to know if i can do the same procedure with the 2006 model? or any places that could do it for me? I've been told that the selector shaft is internal i.e no six bolts? I dont think the damage is to the extent they say
Are you on about the selector shaft roll pin which are bad for shearing on these?You can`t get roll pins for these and you have to take the whole housing assy.which is very expensive and a scrappy may be reluctant to break up a g/box for parts.I have used a hardened bolt in its place before and with a bit of loctite it worked out ok or you could try an engineers for a roll pin.
