diesel smoke from galaxy?

hi i have a 2001 galaxy there is a small outlet pipe by the rear nearside passenger door by the back wheel that has smoke coming out of it smells of diesel,no drop in power or anything else any ideas what it is thanks chezzy

This sounds stupid but its not the exhaust from a cab heater such as an Eberspacher?? If so turning it off should do the trick.
