Mend Peugeot 307 Car Moving Problem

Peugeot 307 over heating?

The car is ok when I am moving but when stop for a time it starts to over heat anyone get any ideas what the problem is

Where is the sensor on the block for the fan

then check the sensor on the engine block that starts the fan,if thats ok try testing the fan by connecting it to the battery ,i would start myself by checking that i had power to the sensor on the engine,then power to the fan,use a test meter set to voltage dc
