Mend Acamp Repair Cord Small

How can I repair the cord on my Acapm parasol?

I have an Acamp crank handle tilt parasol.There is a small pulley wheel but doesn't seem tp be a hol down the pole for a cord to pass through to meet up with the crank and the crank is solidly bolted through the pole.I can't see where the cord has snapped from.
