how do I replace carbon brushes?

disconnect plug from wall,disconnect water,lay machine on its BACK ONLY.now look underneath and the motor is in front of you.undo motor brushes from motor casing.10mm or less of carbon on brushes need replacing.if you pull carbon bit out of holder and refit sometimes this makes the motor work again but don't use it like this as it can destroy the motor but at least proves it works prior to buying new brushes
