Mend Combi Heating Faulty

Main combi boiler ?

Why is my boiler sending hot water to my radiators when I only want hot water to my taps. The heating is turned off. Also the hot water tap keeps going hot and cold when I turn it on? Could the diverter be faulty as a friend of mine thinks that could be the cause?

hi yes i would say the diverter is the most likely problem as it stops the water going to the rads when u turn on the hot water taps
