Mend Peugeot Speedfighter 2 Moped Ignition

Speedfighter 2?

I cannot turn ignition key round far enought to start my speedfighter 2 moped. I can get the steering lock off but i cannot turn key far enought to start electrically! I have given good spray with WD40 but still no joy! Any ideas please?
