Rear Brakes, Vauxhall Vectra 2.2, 04 model?

the piston has some form of self adjusting mechanism, only way i could get the piston to retract was to get the pad off and wind it back in using a tool with two small prongs on it (the same one that came with the angle grinder). A spreader won't help you i dont think... didn't help me.

Try opening the bleed nipple until fluid starts to run out, not forgeting to have a container to catch fliud. once you have done this either hold calliper and pull towards you until piston has been retracted or use your spreaders. once piston retracted close bleed nipple and piston should stay in place allowing access to pads.
