vauxhall zafira central locking not working?

my 56 plate zafira locking is not working on my car. the doors will not lock with the keyfob and not even if i use the key to lock it. it will only lock the drivers door. and also the boot will not open at all. mrs said she smelled a burning smell when she was driving. before it all happen'd. a week previous the heater motor in the car as stoped working as well any ideas what i should look at first. one of the fuses as gone on the think it was fuse two not sure . but when i put another one in it i glowed up red. sounds like a wire is shorting out somewhere. could anyone give me some good advice ?
