Has the water drained out? May be the electric door switch is immobilised because the machine still full of water. Check the filter, expect lots of water. Just a thought. Cheers

Ive tried that. Theres no handle its just a button above the door that usually lights when its ready to open but there is no light on and when you push it, it doesnt work. Its as though the cycle hasnt actually finished. But it has :-(

make a fist and thump door on handle several times and see if it releases.is there tension on the door handle as it could be broken or the lock could be an issue
