Mend Baumatic Oven Cooker Display

My baumatic lower oven light comes on but the oven will not work?

My Baumatic lower oven control light comes on but has a very week light and the oven will not come on sometimes it comes on by it's self byt then goes of and will not come back on. I have removed the oven and checked all the wires for corrosion and lose wires but have found nothing. could it be the display that is faulty
