Bosch AHS48-16 Hedge trimmer faulty on & off switch?

Mine Bosch hedge trimmer worked intermittently this summer. It's only had light use. I opened it up to find that the safety bar moves a plastic ratchet/lever mechanism so the trigger lines up with a double contact switch. One of the trigger cams has worn so the switch doesn't operate properly. I haven't yet found a supplier of a new switch. I may try to make my own replacement trigger over winter... My small Black & Decker hedge trimmer (15 years old) is still going!
