Recent: Safely remove screen protector from a Macbook Air?

can't wind on film?

Can half wind film on and then clutch slips back to start position. So cannot take another photo as it hasn't 're-armed'
Its an old Nikon FG, have replaced battery and looked under base plate to see if it's anything obvious
