The lid of the fuse box usually has notation indicating what is what, If you can find the fuse box under the hood it should say on the lid where to look. If not and you have time you can pull reach fuse one at a time and look with a torch or hold up to the light and see what has blown as there is a little fusible link of wire you can see in the plastic housing of the fuse. It should be 'made' and not 'open' across the spades of the fuse.
The shift should be illuminated, this could be on the dash light fuse, but to be honest its a little involved to change this bulb out, so the chances are its been out since you got the car and will need the trim removing from the transmission shifter to get this replaced.
Dome lamp is quite simple, get a flat blade driver and carefully prize out the white /clear cover from the lamp (Usually a slot/recess is visible around the edge of the dome lamp to slot the driver in) When out replace bulb and push fit the unit back in. Make sure the lamp has the correct wattage of bulb refitted as too higher power and the plastic may burn ! Take the bulb you remove to the auto shop and get the correct one .
