Mend Stiga Multiclip 50S Working Start Stops

Stiga Multiclip 50S is not working?

The engine will start but as soon as it catches it stops again. I have lost my instruction manual so cannot look up anything. It is definately not petrol or oil as I have checked these. All of the mechanisms are free that are on the side of the lawnmower and the catches work.
