The CATCH on my SMEG OVEN HINGE won't release when I'm refitting door?

my smeg oven clip on the hinge isn't being triggered when I try to re fit the oven door - does any one have any suggestions?

Usually the bottom arm has a littlle cut out in it which the edge of the socket fits into, and then the arm drops down slighty to locate. Because I dont have a model no I am speaking in general terms here, if you can give me the model no I can look up your specific hinge and give you more definite instructions. Cheers

probably bottom arm of hinge is not located in the socket fully. Cheers
