spool on journal tape side is not rolling up register tape. I've been rolling it up manually after so many sales. Is there some part replacement required or what has happened exactly
The take-up belt has usually broken. This is a rubber drive belt (like a black rubber band) that drives from the pulley on the printer over to the take-up spool. It is under the top cover. You can probably get one from a TEC dealer or else some electronics shops have drive belts. Take your old one (all the pieces if it's broken) to get the right size. I've used square type belts in place of the round type and they work fine.
