jcb m25 strimmer?

My JCB M25 strimmer recoil does not work anymore, i can rewind the pull cord by turning the strimmer head, it does start ok but not rewind.
Can it be repaired?

Remove the three plastic casings. The nut on the crankshaft is conventional right hand threat. Take out spark plug and feed in rope while the piston is approaching TDC to lock the engine. Tension the spring and wind the starter cord round the pulley until t is nicely tensioned.
