How can I fix my DVD player?

I dont know what kind of player it is, but when I put the disk in, it sounds like its skipping for about 20 seconds, then says "Enter Disk".

Try a different disk. If they all wont play the chances are the laser has worn. Its cheaper to buy a new player than to fix it.
