Mend Royal C603R Heater Flame Effect Remote

How can i fix my Royal Cozyfire C603R ?

I have a Royal Cozyfire C603R. when I turn the flame effect on its fine but as soon as I turn on the heater it shuts down. I dont use the remote anymore as that stopped working about 2 years ago.
