drayton thermostat 30002/rf601?

I went to put the heating on and both lights were off on the thermostat, the alarm one came on briefly when I changed the batteries, I've changed the fuse but still no heating and green on light hasn't came on, anyone got any ideas, I don't want to have to call someone out to pay a fortune if its something simple
