Why can't I get online to Microsoft Internet Explorer?

When I try to go online with Microsoft Internet Explorer I get a blank box that shows up stating "work offline". When I click on to close this box another one of the same shows up. This goes on for 3-4 times and then I get an error box that wants me to describe the problem and send to Internet Explorer. I have tried this but to no avail. The only way I can get online is by opening Netscape navigator and then Internet Explorer. I would appreciate any help anybody can give me?

netscape navigator and internet explorer don't get on well with each other_ you haven't said what kind of machine you're using and that would make a big difference to the answer to your question_
Basically what you need to do is decide which of these two browsers really meets your daily requirements_ and uninstall the other one_ because if you're using a Windows operating system and netscape nav is your 'default browser' then internat explorer is going to punish you_ If you're not running an Apple computer I would strongly advise you to get rid of Netscape and use Internet Explorer only_ You'll probably find your problem resolved immediately_ On the other hand if you're using an Apple computer then you might need someone else to answer your question
