how to get my strimmer to run off choke ?

i have a spear and jackson 28cc strimmer ,i went to start it and it started ist time via abit off choke ,but soon as i turned choke off it stopped ,it wont rev up at all .i have replaced the obvious plug ,sponge air cleaner but still no luck .any suggestions thanks
