Mend Polaroid Top Cover Unit

where is this "lens" u talk about for "no disk" on dvd???

where is the lens u refur to for fixing NO DISK on a dvd? took top cover off & see a unit that moves fore & aft under where the disk would be but dont see anything that would be a LENS all i see is a couple of solder connections on top. this is a polaroid vcr/dvd combo
